POJOKSATU.id - Memasuki akhir semester, peserta didik kelas 6 SD mulai mempersiapkan diri menghadapi Sumatif Akhir Semester atau Penilaian Akhir Semester.
Pada Kurikulum Merdeka, materi Bahasa Inggris semester 1 berfokus pada kemampuan memahami dan menggunakan simple past tense dalam konteks aktivitas yang sudah terjadi di masa lampau.
Di kelas 6, siswa tidak hanya mengenal pola sederhana seperti was, were, dan verb 2, tetapi juga belajar mengamati informasi waktu seperti yesterday, last week, dan two days ago.
Materi ini melatih cara menceritakan pengalaman, menanggapi pertanyaan, hingga menyampaikan informasi berdasarkan teks pendek.
Selain itu, peserta didik juga diharapkan mampu memahami kosakata tentang aktivitas sehari-hari dan ekspresi perasaan di masa lampau, seperti happy, tired, hungry, atau sad.
Keterampilan membaca singkat (reading) juga menjadi bagian penting, terutama dalam menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan teks.
